One of the main differences between coaching and other support modalities is that in coaching, the client is the expert. The focus of our work is typically more on how the client can achieve their goals, reduce stress and gain more clarity in decision-making, both now and in the future.
Coaches may explore mindset, stress reduction and similar topics from a lens of improving motivation, goal setting, taking action and providing accountability rather than offering therapeutic interventions. Coaches are trained thought partners who support the client in navigating their own process. They provide structure and frameworks within which a client can design their own individualized strategies for success.
Often in therapy, consulting or mentoring relationships, the client is seeking insight from an expert and expecting them to give advice, offer a diagnosis, suggest a treatment plan, and/or provide a ready-made strategy or action plan for implementation. Crucially, coaching is not advice, therapy nor counseling and is not intended to substitute for professional medical, financial or business advice, medical diagnoses, or treatment. We are not licensed mental health professionals and coaching services do not replace the care of psychologists or other healthcare professionals.

We offer a range of services including 1:1 coaching, leadership development and training, team development, group coaching and facilitation, and leadership and goal setting workshops.
-
For 1:1 coaching, the client and coach typically meet virtually via Zoom or phone call. For group workshops and trainings, we can deliver these programs virtually or in person at the client’s request. Group programs are typically run virtually.

We abide by the ICF Code of Ethics and promise that all information provided by clients, including the fact that we are working together, will be kept strictly confidential as allowed by law (note that coaches are not covered by any special legal privileges with regards to confidentiality).
In group settings, we set expectations around confidentiality as part of the group agreements.

Yes, we do offer corporate coaching agreements which are sponsored by a company to provide 1:1 coaching to one or more employees. We have also had clients choose to pay for coaching with their individual employee learning and development funds, where that is allowed by company policy.
